Statement

As a fully devoted disciple of Christ my identity lies in Him and my mindset should reflect that.

• We are made in God's image

• His image is perfect Perfection in His image is difficult for us to grasp The difficulty lies in us focusing on our perceived flaws The perception of our flaws are due to our sin nature Our sin nature ca blind us into believing we are not made in His image This belief creates doubt that our sin is truly forgiven Forgiveness is often difficult for us to give ourselves To forgive ourself begs us to truly believe we are made in His image Believing we are made in His image is not a natural mindset The mindset of a disciple is fully accepting His love for us
